All educational institutes in UP to remain shut for 2 days due to incessant rains

Owing to the continuous downpour, the government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to shut down schools, colleges and all the other educational institutes in the state for 2 days. As per the notification issued by the state government on Thursday, all educational centres will remain closed on Friday and Saturday. Various districts of the state, including the capital city Lucknow, have witnessed incessant rainfall for the past 40 hours.

All primary & government schools in Lucknow & other UP districts to remain shut till April 11

Given the accelerating rate of COVID infections in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has ordered all government and primary schools for students up to 8th standard to remain shut till April 11. Previously, the government had ordered the closure of schools for students of grades 1-8 till April 4 and now this date has extended. Alarmed by the rising number of COVID cases in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has announced that schools for students up to 8th standard shall remain closed till April 4. Schools in Lucknow & other UP districts to shut down from March 24 amid COVID scare

In view of the accelerating COVID count in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has issued directives to shut down schools for pupils of grades 1 to 8 from March 24. As per the orders, classes for the students of these grades shall remain cancelled up to March 31 on account of Holi vacation. Additionally, schools for standards 9 to 12 and colleges in the state, where examinations are not scheduled, have been instructed to be closed from March 25 to 31.
