Traffic to be diverted at Bada Chauraha in Kanpur for construction of underground metro station

As per reports, the new framework will be functional for a period of two years. New 6-lane flyover between Kanpur & Prayagraj to become operational in 6 months

Easing connectivity in Uttar Pradesh, a new flyover is set to become operational between Kanpur and Prayagraj in about 6 months. The upcoming 6-lane stretch will permit a speed limit of 100km/hour, reducing the transit time to just 2 hours and 15 minutes. Under Kanpur Smart City Mission, 42 locations to have facility for pre-booking car parking slots

Dear Kanpurites, if your retail therapy is also eclipsed by the stress of finding a safe parking spot for your vehicle, then we have good news for you. Under the Smart City Mission, the city of Kanpur has decided to provide online booking of parking stations to the city dwellers. As per the plans of this development programme, about 42 locations in the city will be roped in the pre-booking mission, where the parking token too will be paid via online, cashless means. Kanpur's development authorities are inspecting all parking lots in the city to implement this plan smoothly in the financial year of 2021-2022.

Beautification project to begin soon at Kanpur's Fazalganj crossing

In view of intense lock-ins and traffic jams at Kanpur's prominent intersections, a report, proposing constructions of flyovers at Vijayanagar, Fazal Ganj, Govindpuri Jaipuria school crossing was filed at the Madalyukta. However, the conclusive analysis of a survey reveals that there is no need to build a flyover at the Fazalganj intersection if there is one us at Vijayanagar. Conducted on the proposal of a district MP, this Mandalyukta survey has paved the way for the beautification and widening of the intersection to declutter roads. A proposal in this regard will be floated at the Mandalyukta soon.

Kanpur to improve town planning by solving the parking-traffic problem at popular markets places

The Kanpur Development Authority has come with a plan to establish an outlining roadmap in the city's popular market places to solve the rising issue of parking and consequent traffic jams, due to haphazard stationing of vehicles on the road itself. These lock-ins at market places lead to concentrated emission of fuel gases which in turn harm the customers and passer-by, creating problems in breathing.
