Lucknow Nagar Nigam to set up a 40-bed COVID-19 hospital at Mahanagar Kalyan Mandap

In an attempt to expand and strengthen the pillars of coronavirus treatment infra, the Lucknow Nagar Nigam has decided to set up a 40-bed COVID-19 hospital at the Mahanagar Kalyan Mandap. This new facility will primarily operate as an L-1 and L-2 health care centre and will be fully equipped with oxygen beds and emergency units. Reportedly, municipal officers and their families will be given priority admission here and zero cost treatment benefit will also be provided to the needy.

Haj House in Lucknow to function as a provisional 225-bed COVID care facility by next week!

Supported by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Lucknow's Haj House is being converted into a 225-bed temporary COVID centre, to shoulder the burden piling on the city's medical infrastructures. All preparations are being conducted in full swing here, to ensure that this treatment facility is up and functional by next week. This centre in Sarojini Nagar will function as a level 3 treatment centre, creating a critical care provision for several patients amid a severe crunch of hospital beds.

Lucknow's latest COVID isolation centre at Topkhana is now functional for patients!

In a bid to relax the swelling burden of COVID patients dependent on Lucknow's healthcare infrastructure, the new isolation centre developed at Topkhana, in the city's cantonment area, has started admitting patients since Wednesday. Equipped with facilities for oxygen supplies, this COVID medical centre will have a team of doctors and paramedical staff working round the clock, to sufficient care and treatment for the individuals infected by the deadly virus.
