Mumbai to experience heavy rainfall between 9 June to 12 June, IMD issues alert!

It has been forecasted that between 9 June to 12 June, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and the Konkan region will experience heavy rains. In wake of this weather update, on Monday, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra directed the state and district administration to stay alert and prepared to tackle any developments on this line. IMD predicts weather conditions across India, gusty winds are in store for Uttar Pradesh

As per the latest forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Indian states can experience thunderstorm, high-speed winds and rain in the coming days. Winds of speed between 30 and 40 kmph are expected over isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and other nearby states. Heavy rainfall is expected in Assam and Meghalaya as the southwestern winds gain strength.

Cyclonic turbulences expected to bring rain for Maharashtra & Goa on Monday-Tuesday

As cyclonic circumstances brew over the Bay of Bengal, their effects will be seen along India's western coastlines and mainland regions too. According to reports, the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that the cyclone will strengthen leading to showers over some areas of Maharashtra excluding Mumbai, on Monday and Tuesday.
