3-tier Women Grievance Redressal Committee to be set up for helping females in Rajasthan

In a bid to assist the females working in the informal sector, the Rajasthan Government has come up with a plan to set up a three-tier Women Grievance Redressal Committee. It will help in addressing the complaints registered by the women folks in a faster and streamlined way. This new committee will be introduced across seven departments of the state government including police, labour, industries, justice, medical and social justice.

Enroute 'green future': Electric Vehicle Policy to be rolled out in Rajasthan!

After the introduction of the Electric Vehicles Policy across multiple states of the country, Rajasthan is all set to roll out a similar scheme now. Previously, Maharashtra, Delhi, Gujarat and Telangana administrations have worked on parallel interventions and initiated EV policies aiming for a green future. Mahendra Soni, Commissioner, Transport Department of the Rajasthan government informed that the EV policy has been drafted and now, it will be transferred to the finance department for approval.

Rajasthan bags 1st position in Smart City Mission rankings, Jaipur at the 28th spot!

Winning acclaim for its comprehensive efforts, Rajasthan secured the first spot in an online ranking of 36 states and union territories, on the basis of projects under the Smart City Mission. Amid the list of 100 best cities, Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer and Jaipur bagged the 5th, 10th, 22nd and 28th positions, respectively.
