Lucknow-Kanpur expressway to be ready by 2024 fostering easier travel between 2 cities!

Stepping forward with the construction plans for the Kanpur-Lucknow expressway, the National Highway Authority of India has issued a tender in this regard. All set to begin construction within 6 months, this expressway will be the first highway in Uttar Pradesh to be linked to Lucknow's Ring Road for easier vehicular movements. Expected to be ready by 2024, this 63-Km long facility will reduce the travel time between Lucknow and Kanpur to nearly 45 minutes.

4 new IndiGo flights to take-off from the old terminus at Kanpur's Chakeri Airport

Due to a delay in the completion of the new terminal building at the Kanpur Chakeri Airport, four new IndiGo flights will take off from the old terminus. As per reports, the deadline for the construction of the new building has been extended to December end, in line with the non-completion of civic work here. According to earlier plans, the new terminal was set to complete by September 30, which fit IndiGo's plans to introduce the 4 services from September 15.

IndiGo to launch daily flights connecting Lucknow, Mumbai & Indore to other cities!

In a move to boost the connectivity of metropolitan cities with Tier 2 and 3 cities, IndiGo has decided to launch 38 daily flights in the month of September. With this initiative, the airline has tried to ensure improved accessibility of Lucknow, Mumbai and Indore from some other cities in the nation and vice versa. Out of these 38 flights, 2 will be freshly launched while 12 others will be relaunched by the airline. Additionally, the latest fleet will also consists 24 connecting flights.

Rajasthan Roadways revives 1600 buses to boost travel across Jaipur & other districts

The Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) on Thursday, announced to restore about 50% of their bus fleet to bolster public transport services in the state. As per reports, about 1600 buses will return to roads to ease travel and commute across the districts. These services will be regulated from all state deports, facilitating travel to almost every city of Rajasthan. Meanwhile, inter-state transport has not been exempted yet.
