Orange Alert issued in Lucknow & other dists as pre-monsoon weather changes observed across UP

Today morning, residents of Lucknow and nearby areas woke up to overcast skies and moderate to heavy pre-monsoon rainfall was reported in several areas. As per the latest forecast of the weather department, it is expected that monsoons will hit Kanpur, Lucknow and other UP districts by this weekend, almost a week before the schedule. This situation has risen due to the fast pace of monsoon currents and in light of these circumstances, certain cities have been put on orange alert to caution residents against possible damages.

IMD predicts weather conditions across India, gusty winds are in store for Uttar Pradesh

As per the latest forecast by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Indian states can experience thunderstorm, high-speed winds and rain in the coming days. Winds of speed between 30 and 40 kmph are expected over isolated places in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and other nearby states.
