Football fans in Goa, it is time to get footloose. Goa state will play host to this year’s final match of the Indian Super League (ISL) on March 14. The news was brought to the forefront by the founding chairperson of Football Sports Development Limited, Nita Ambani. She also revealed that the match will be played at the JLN stadium in Fatorda, Goa.
In addition to the final match, Goa will also play host to a semi-final match on March 07, 2020. There are a series of matches lined up till the finals and the football fans are all set to cheer their teams to victory.

The ISL is one of the top leagues when it comes to the state of football in our largely cricket driven country. Goa is well known for its large number of football fans and the Goans have displayed their skill on the field often times.
If FC Goa makes it to the finals, the support from fans will be incredible as they will have the home ground advantage. Scores of raving fans will do well to show their support at the stadium. Prior to the final match on March 14, there are four other games lined up.
The teams FC Goa, ATK (Atlético de Kolkata), Chennaiyin FC and Bengaluru FC are four of the remaining contestants in the ISL. Fans of all the four teams are rooting for their champions and the wait is simply breathtaking.

The final match and the one prior to that will take place at JLN Stadium at Fatdora. The stadium has the capacity for 19,000 fans and has a slew of facilities for them as well. It is Goa’s only international stadium and has hosted 9 ODIs in the past.
