As per the latest predictions by the IMD, more than 15 districts, other than Jaipur, will experience gusty winds and mild showers. Further, it has been noted that clear skies will probably be observed in Jaipur till 27 June and the monsoon will show its effects around 1 July. However, owing to the pre-monsoon effect, several cities, including the Pink City, have registered a decline in recorded temperature by 3 to 4 degrees.

Highest temperature across state recorded in Sri Ganganagar

In the past 24 hours, Sri Ganganagar has recorded the highest temperature across the state, at 41.2°C, while Pali has registered the lowest temperature at 29.6°C. The average temperature which has been recorded in Rajasthan is bordering 40 degrees, however, the monsoon showers are expected to bring much relief.

The southern monsoon winds have slowed down across Rajasthan while, for the past four days, the northern currents are passing over Barmer, Bhilwara and Dhaulpur. Due to wind movement in these districts, the temperatures recorded here are lower than in other towns and are marked at 38.8°C, 33.6°C and 37.9°C, respectively.
