The Ahmedabad Regional Transport Office (RTO) has currently halted its operations due to technical issues affecting the driving test track. As a result, all ongoing driving exams have been temporarily put on hold until the track is fully operational once again.
In 2021, the Ahmedabad RTO had unveiled plans to introduce AI-based automated driving test tracks, a move aimed at modernizing the testing system and replacing the existing manual tests with computerized driving assessments.
Once the test track is back in working condition, the driving tests will resume as scheduled. The office will release further information regarding the resumption of these exams at a later time.
