As of now, the PWD has started building a rotary and two piers, in the middle of Bengali Square. Further, to complete this project within the expected timeframe, work on the approach road of the flyover has also been started, simultaneously. Meanwhile, the Water Resources Minister of Madhya Pradesh visited the construction site on Thursday to inspect the work and urged workers to speed up in order to complete the project on time.

According to the official of PWD, the work on the flyover has restarted with the aim to complete the project as soon as possible. Once ready, traffic congestion in the area is set to improve with the flyover and underpass at this round about. With the speeding up of the project, the construction work is likely to finish by next year, added the official. This timeframe is set with the assumption that there will be no additional road blocks like the third wave of COVID that could hinder the construction work.
