After nearly 2 years of waiting, Indore's Holkar International Cricket Stadium will host a match of the India-South Africa T20 series. The series will kick off in September 2022 and the last T20 game of the 3-Match series will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on October 3. Meanwhile, the other two matches will be played at Greenfield Stadium, Kerala and Barsapara Stadium, Assam.

Zero waste generation policy adopted for third T20

The decision came after the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) got the nod from BCCI for hosting the match. As per reports, preparation by the MPCA authorities has begun and a zero waste generation policy will be implemented in a bid to maintain the tag of the cleanest city in the country. The zero waste generation policy will be implemented with the help of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.

This will be the third international match that will be played in Indore. Prior to this, a test match between India and Bangladesh was held in November 2019, and a T20 match between India and Sri Lanka was played in January 2020.
