Jaipur & other Rajasthan districts to implement Unlock-3 relaxations, check details here!

With the second swell of the pandemic receding from Jaipur and other Rajasthan districts, the state government recently announced 'Unlock-3 guidelines'. Easing the restrictions, it was reported today that religious places and city parks will be accessible to the public under restricted timings, among other things. Extended timings for vaccinated people at city parks

As per the latest guidelines, religious places across the state shall remain open from 5 AM to 4 PM and the city buses have been allowed to ply from 5 AM to 8 PM. Further, government offices will continue functioning until 6 PM as opposed to the working hours (9.30 AM to 4 PM) that were announced previously.

The city parks have been reopened for the public between 5 AM to 8 AM and vaccinated individuals can access them for extra three hours in the evening, between 4 PM to 7 PM. Moreover, shops and commercial centres are allowed to stay open till 7 PM, given that 60 per cent of the staff working there is vaccinated.

Prevention against Delta+ variant & anticipated third wave

The disclaimer accompanying the latest guidelines states- "Covid protocol needs to be followed by one and all and those flouting norms shall be penalised." On Saturday, the Chief Minister also asked people to stay extra careful against the new COVID strain and urged eligible beneficiaries to get vaccinated at the earliest. Also, to check the spread of infection, children under 18 are advised to stay away from crowded areas.
