Bakri Eid 2025 | Lucknow Police issues route diversions & guidelines for June 7

Dedicated Traffic Control Room (9454405155) set up for citizens.

Khushboo Ali

Ahead of Bakra-Eid celebrations on June 7, Lucknow Police have announced major traffic diversions to ensure safe and smooth festivities. Starting at 6 AM, restrictions will be enforced on 27 major routes across Old Lucknow, especially around areas where large gatherings are expected. Namaz will be offered at several locations, including Aishbagh Eidgah at 10 AM, which draws thousands of worshippers each year.

To avoid congestion, only vehicles belonging to Namazis and essential services like ambulances and fire brigades will be allowed in restricted zones. Alternate routes have been advised for regular commuters, and a dedicated control room (9454405155) has been set up to assist citizens with traffic-related queries.
