Knocksense Shorts | Screening drive identifies over 3k fresh TB cases in UP

In an attempt to provide better care to patients, a 21-day screening drive was conducted to identify TB cases in UP. The campaign found out 3,959 new TB cases in the state. Furthermore, the number of TB patients under treatment in Uttar Pradesh was found to be 3,01,789.

The said screening drive in UP was conducted between May 15 and June 16. Now that the new TB cases have been identified, the patients will soon start getting ₹500 per month for procuring a nutritious diet.
