Board exams are scheduled to be held between February 22 and March 9.

In a bid to eliminate cheating and other unfair practices during the secondary board examinations, the authorities are all set to implement strict measures. This time around, the UP board exam centers deemed as 'sensitive' or 'highly sensitive' will be monitored by the special Local Intelligence Unit (LIU).

These measures are expected to eliminate paper leaks, security breaches, and more. Apart from this, a comprehensive strategy will be implemented at all stages of the examination process, scheduled to be held between February 22 and March 9.

In the past, news of cheating during UP board exams have surfaced many times. Given such records, especially with some notorious examination centers, this move by the UP government to implement stringent measures at all stages from invigilation to answer sheet collection, is timely and welcome.
