The original copy of the Indian Constitution is now on display at Uttar Pradesh Raj Bhavan in Lucknow, allowing people to witness this historic document firsthand. The Governor of Uttar Pradesh has taken this initiative to promote awareness and respect for the Constitution among the general public.
Preceding the 76th Republic Day, a moot court was organised on Saturday, January 25, where participants were educated about fundamental rights and duties. Addressing the event, the Governor emphasised the significance of such programs in enhancing legal awareness. She highlighted the role of initiatives like 'Nari Adalat' (Women’s Court) in empowering women by providing a platform to resolve disputes before they reach the judicial system.
The Raj Bhavan is also set to host its annual flower show from February 7 to 9. During this period, the Raj Bhavan will remain open to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy the vibrant floral exhibition while also witnessing the Constitution display.
