Rainy days followed by hot blowing winds, humid weather conditions, that’s how Lucknow’s weather is rolling currently. After two days of continuous thunder storms under the influence of western disturbance (WD), the MET department has predicted another round of thunderstorms and light rainfall during the weekend in most parts of Uttar Pradesh including Lucknow.

However, day temperatures in Lucknow will increase, but it will remain below 35°C at least for this weekend.

Unusual weather conditions in Uttar Pradesh

On April 26, the maximum temperature in Lucknow was 35.3°C, 4.2 units below normal, and the minimum temperature was 19.9°C, 3.2 notches below normal.

On April 27, due to WD in western UP, Lucknow will receive light rainfall, thunder and strong winds. Maximum temperature will stand at 37°C, while the minimum temperature will hover around 24°C.

Again on April 28, Lucknow will receive light rainfall coupled with strong winds and movement of clouds in the southern and western parts of Uttar Pradesh. Maximum temperature in Lucknow will be 34°C, while the minimum temperature will stand at 23°C.

Weather in Uttar Pradesh is not following its usual pattern this year. WDs hit the state 2 months late, following which UP saw dry and warm January and February. However, steady stream of WDs has been causing thunderstorms at regular intervals. As a result, weather has been rather pleasant in April so far.
