The atmosphere reverberated with love and the streets were painted in the colours of a rainbow on Sunday, during the 8th Awadh Queer Pride in Lucknow. The walk commenced at the Dainik Jagran intersection from 2 PM and what followed was two hours of high energy dhol beats, powerful slogans advocating queer rights, and unrestrained expressions of love, peace, and unity.
