When you are on the path to do good, there is nothing that can hold you back from achieving your goal. The same happened at Surya Pratap Singh’s Funda Makers.
The Lucknow’s first not for profit coaching center creates a shock wave in the city with its results. The 13 students from the free batch scored more than 90%ile in the recently declared CAT results.

Manikant Yadav creates a record at Funda Makers by scoring 99.55%ile. He was closely followed by Saurabh Dwivedi who received 98.6%ile and Harsh Gupta with 97.64%ile.
A special mention goes to Anshul Bhadauriya, who scored 96.08%ile even though his father was keeping unwell during the preparation period.
In July, when we had a chance to interview Surya Pratap Singh, he told us a lot about how Funda Maker works. Today, after seeing the results, we can truly say that his movement will soon create new records in Lucknow.
We have a thumb rule, that any student who comes here and deposits the certificate of BPL by the Government of India, we don’t charge him/her a single penny. The cost of the education of those students is covered by the students who pay, which is also very nominal. The social media-driven movement cum coaching center doesn’t believe in advertisements.
I don’t believe in ads. I haven’t even taken any steps in that direction. Frankly, I just rely on my students, who are on my Facebook. I post videos on Facebook, and that’s the only way I promote myself, said Surya Pratap Singh.
However, another big challenge awaits Funda Makers. Getting a CAT score is one milestone but to convert that score into an IIM call is the ultimate goal. Surya Pratap Singh has already started GD-PI training sessions and if you have scored well then you should certainly reach out to him.
