Mira Rajput Kapoor has ventured into the wellness space with the launch of Dhun Wellness, a sepia-toned, soundproof sanctuary located on the seventh floor of the Cozy Nook building in Mumbai. Spanning 6,000 sq ft, the centre has 13 treatment rooms, destined for urban residents seeking respite from the city’s chaos.

Treatments: From deep tissue to energy healing

Dhun offers a range of therapies spanning physical and emotional wellness. Highlights include:

  • Tulya Massage: A signature treatment that blends deep tissue massage, stretching and sound therapy (₹12,500 for 90 minutes).

  • Ethera Facial: Developed by Mariko Hiyama, this Japanese lymphatic facial uses rhythmic strokes to sculpt and depuff the face (₹12,000 for 60 minutes).

  • EFT Therapy: Emotional Freedom Technique sessions involve fingertip tapping on meridian points to ease anxiety and clear mental blocks (₹10,000 for 30 minutes).

Dhun also offers longer Ayurvedic programs, including a week-long gut restoration plan and a women’s dosha balance programme, incorporating practices like panchakarma (₹1,75,000 for 7 days). Dhun also has Aura and Chakra Scanner Test (₹10,000 for 15 minutes), a patented Taiwanese machine that uses biofeedback to scan chakras and visualise a person’s aura on screen.

Internet reacts to Dhun’s price tags

However, the internet wasted no time in responding to the hefty price tags at Dhun Wellness. Reddit users, in particular, were quick to weigh in with a healthy dose of sarcasm. “Sorry if this is a repetitive post but these prices have me laughing hard.”

One user summed up the general sentiment with biting humour and wrote, “I’ll do that for less than ₹500 myself. All you need is some mild muscle relaxants and vodka. You aren't special, Mira, stop trying to be the Kailash Colony version of Gwyneth Paltrow.”
