EDM fans received a crushing blow as Sunburn announced the cancellation of the much-anticipated Deadmau5 concert scheduled for July 12 at NESCO, Mumbai. The sudden change of plans was attributed to the upcoming visit of the Prime Minister of India, causing unforeseen logistical challenges.

In an official statement, Sunburn, the event organiser clarified, “The Honorable Prime Minister of India is visiting the city around the scheduled event date, and therefore the planned venue is no longer available for use as per directives issued by the relevant authorities.” This decision has left many fans wondering about the next steps and eagerly seeking alternatives.

As per reports, Sunburn has promised full refunds to all ticket holders and is collaborating with Deadmau5's management to reschedule his India performance soon. The Canadian (EDM) producer and performer last performed in India in 2014, as part of a three-city Sunburn Arena tour.
