After a prolonged five-year hiatus, Mumbai's Delisle Bridge is set to reopen on Thursday, offering respite to commuters. Closed since 2018, the bridge will boast three lanes in each direction, accompanied by additional staircases and escalators to enhance pedestrian mobility.

Notably, Delisle Bridge is a crucial link for individuals heading to various commercial and office complexes in Lower Parel. The absence of this vital connector since July 2018 has caused considerable inconvenience for locals, especially office-goers.

Amid delays and controversies, segments of the bridge have gradually reopened, with the entire structure set to welcome traffic on November 23. The inauguration ceremony will witness the participation of key figures, including state ministers, BMC officials, and local representatives.
