In light of the upcoming festive season, the state of Goa has announced a set of safety travel norms for all visitors and tourists. As per reports, it is compulsory for all passengers to produce either a negative RT-PCR COVID report or a full vaccination (with both doses) certificate for entry into the state. The norm has been established as a precautionary measure to limit the coronavirus test positivity ratio here.

In an announcement on Friday, the Chief Minister of Goa elaborated upon the precautionary travel norms and their need to effectively reduce the virus spread here. The administration will also devise new SOPs (standard operating procedures) in view of the upcoming festivals, he added.
