After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from commuters, the India Central Railways has decided to add a second vistadome coach to Train No. 22119/20 CSMT-KRMI Tejas Express that runs between Mumbai and Karmali in Goa, effective April 14. The specially designed vistadome coach offers passengers a better view of the nature and lets them explore India’s beauty, from waterfalls and lakes to mountains and wildlife aboard a train.

Imagine admiring the lush Western Ghats and the beautiful Konkan region through an almost all-glass coach, as your train whistles through valleys and tunnels. These coaches, known for their spacious windows and transparent roofs, have gained popularity among travellers and the glass roof act as an Instagram highlight for your feed!
The beautiful coaches also boast features such as LED lights, rotatable-pushback seats, a GPS-based information system, electrically operated automatic sliding compartment doors, wide side sliding doors allowing easy access for specially-abled individuals, and well-maintained toilets with ceramic tile flooring.

Last September, a vistadome coach was attached to Mumbai-Karmali Tejas Express. With this new coach, it will now become the first train in India to have two such coaches, stated officials.
Apart from the above, Mumbai-Karmali Tejas Express features 11 AC chair cars, one AC executive chair car coach, two luggage coaches, and a generator-cum-brake van. The fair and details of Mumbai-Karmali Tejas Express are as follows:
