IIT-I, through its DRISHTI CPS Foundation, has formed Technology Innovation Hub for CPS design, modelling and applications, which will work with MSMEs to identify requirements for digitalisation and provide relevant solutions. Additionally, the institute held multiple rounds of discussion with different industrial sectors to identify their issues in adopting digital applications and smart solutions to revive businesses.
Through this research, IIT-I was able to figure out that MSMEs in digital transformation lack knowledge about the technology available, trained manpower and customised solutions for logistics and transport management and inventory management.
