Claimed to be Madhya Pradesh’s biggest centre, this Super Specialty Hospital in Indore will provide facilities across a range of medical departments from October onwards. As per reports, the 10-floored hospital will have nearly 400 beds and it already stands equipped with treatment units for a range of ailments, ICUs, ventilators and other machines. Reportedly, it is expected that the current plans would materialise by October if the third wave doesn’t hamper the program.
Hospital to encapsulate a gamut of specialised facilities
According to reports, the administration had prepared a framework for this ambitious project last year and the Chief Minister launched the scheme in August 2020. Thereafter, the centre transformed into a COVID facility during the first wave of accelerated infections. Notably, reports state that the Super Speciality Hospital catered to the largest count of patients through the dire times of the pandemic. Now, the plans have been revived with the dwindling infection rate and a very low count of patients.
As per reports, the hospital will have specialised facilities across a range of departments like neurology, neurosurgery, nephrology, urosurgery, cardiac surgery, cardiology, medical gastroenterology, surgical nephrology, plastic surgery, reconstructive surgery and organ transplant. Reportedly, the healthcare centre has 6 ICUs and 10 operation theatres and it is expected that 210 out of 400 beds will be available in the general wards once the plans turn into reality.
State-of-the-art equipment to be installed at the centre
Reportedly, the staff at the hospital consists of a number of outsourced employees. It has been reported that doctors and nurses from MYH, MTH and other medical facilities are also employed here. Additionally, the hospital also got a new group of nurses from the MGM Medical College in the city.
An official from the hospitad stated that all 10 floors of the hospital will be operational from October, as per the current schedule. It has been informed that a list of advanced machines and equipment will be installed at the facility. Reportedly, the delivery of these devices got delayed due to the pandemic.
