Aimed at magnifying the inoculation program in the city, a week-long Vaccination Maha Abhiyan is being witnessed in Indore. As a part of this, 1.25 lakh citizens will be given immunity booster jabs on Wednesday. Reportedly, the collector and district in-charge minister stated that the goal is to achieve 100% immunisation during the period of this initiative. Notably, the highest-ever count of nearly 7 lakh vaccine jabs was administered on Monday fuelling the project on its maiden day.
Adequate facilities readied to propel the vaccination drives today
In order to ensure smooth and successful execution of the drives, the authorities have made ample preparations, Further, it has been stated that the administrative, IMC and police officials are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that the plans are materialised without any lags or obstructions.
It is interesting to note that the cleanest district in the country is now stepping towards leading the vaccination tallies. Besides the efforts of the authorities, it is the cooperation of city residents that has strengthened the program in Indore. Now, a humongous count of 1.25 lakh beneficiaries will be given Covishield and Covaxin does today. As per reports, the drives are being held at Municipal Corporation’s headquarters, zonal offices, drive-in centres, 56 Dukaan, shopping malls and other places.
