Good news for pilgrims of Vaishno Devi in Jaipur! Rajasthan Roadways has come up with a bus services from Jaipur to Katra. Every day, one bus will leave Sindhi Camp Bus Stand, Jaipur, at 6:17 am and reach Katra the next day at 4 am.
On the return, the bus will leave Katra at 12:40 pm to reach Jaipur the next day at 10 am, along the same route. This initiative of Rajasthan Roadways has benefitted those who wish to travel to Jammu at an affordable price- just Rs. 1085 per passenger.
Buses to benefit all, not just devotees
As per the official schedule issued by Rajasthan Roadways, the bus will follow the Delhi-Jalandhar route, meaning it can pick up passengers who wish to travel to Katra from Delhi, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, or Jammu.
Chairman and Managing Director of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Sandeep Verma, said that the Roadways Management is constantly trying to provide more affordable buses to the people of Rajasthan, so that they have easy access to various hotspots of the country.
Bus Timings and Schedule
The bus is scheduled to leave Jaipur at 6:17 am, reach Delhi at 1:15 pm, Ludhiana at 7:15 pm, Jalandhar at 10:10 pm, Jammu at around 3 pm, and Katra at 4 am.
