From the 1st of October onwards, the North Western Railway (NWR) is setting four new trains in motion. Trains from Jaipur to Haridwar will once again resume, after being kept under suspension for the last 6 months due to the pandemic. Now with this resumption, train services will also start again from Jaipur to Udaipur and the railway authorities have issued an operational schedule of 4 trains from the North Western Railway zone.

The NWR body is already running 19 trains to different locations and the railway CRPO has stated that 3 trains from Udaipur and 1 from Ajmer will be functional. 2 of these trains will be operated through Jaipur.
Udaipur-Jaipur-Udaipur Daily Superfast Special Train, will depart from Udaipur at 6 AM regularly from the 1st of October and reach Jaipur at 1:35 PM. Similarly, train number 02992, Jaipur-Udaipur Superfast Special will leave the Pink City daily at 2 PM and reach Udaipur at 9:30 PM.
Udaipur-Haridwar Tri Weekly Special will depart from Udaipur, every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 1 PM and reach Haridwar at 10:30 AM the next day. In a similar fashion, Haridwar-Udaipur Tri Weekly Special will depart from Haridwar on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 7:40 PM from the 2nd of October and reach Udaipur at 4:55 PM, the next day.
Due to the approaching festive season, there might be more demands in trains and reportedly, the authorities are working towards increasing the number of services soon. Hopefully, there’ll be trains which would connect Jaipur to the other parts of the country soon. As of now, these services are helping people to plan their travel, within a stipulated budget.
