One may say that the nightlife in Jaipur is rather lacklustre and there just aren’t enough options for lounging around. If you’re of that opinion, then guess what? We’re here to change it because Zarza is a lounge that’s tipping its hat to the nightlife culture and bringing it to the mainstream. Seeing a classy and chic decor that keeps it simple is something that we’ve been wanting for a while now. A stark departure from all the loud, garish bistros that we’ve been going to, Zarza is winning our hearts with their warm and inviting ambience. With a sprawling outdoor seating, you’re going to wonder why you never visited the place before.
With loads of room so that you can dance till you drop, the place compels one to come back. Their drinks menu spans across different libations so you’ve surely got to get a few of those in you before you hit the dance floor.

With something for everyone, it’s the perfect place for a night out with your pals. Since the drinks menu is quite large in itself, you’re going to want to take some time to mull over what you want. Let a friend go ahead and check out the the starters menu which has a plethora of options to choose from. Needless to say, each of the starters complement the drinks perfectly.
Our favourites were the falafel platter- which came with a nice selection of dips and the tangra chilli chicken. Though the chicken was one dish that was more on the heavy side, the combination of the smokiness and the aromatic chilli flavours was what made it stick with us. Even today, we’re craving for some of that chicken.

As for the main course, there are enough options to satiate pretty much everyone, even those with the most picky palette. From a range of North Indian cuisine to Chinese to Continental, they’ve given you a whole lot of options to pick and choose from.
We tried to have something of everything and we have to say that the Chinese Bhel as well as the cheesy penne pasta were the ones that stood out the most. With unique textures and tastes blended in, the Chinese bhel was a pleasant surprise for all of us. We couldn’t get enough and kept going for some more. As for the pasta, it was well prepared and the dashes of different seasonings added to the muted yet unmissable flavours of the dish.

Another standout dish was the cilantro chicken with rice. The subtle and flavourful curry added a whole new texture to the rice and the juicy chicken went along with it just perfectly.
If, you’re not much of a foodie, then hit their dance floor because they often have well known DJs from around the city playing at their club and the scenes there are lit to say the least.
