There comes a time at Amity University every year when there are celebrations all around. It’s called- Amiphoria, the annual cultural fest.
Amiphoria 2018 was an enthralling experience for students and faculties, where the students showed their skills both on stage and off-stage, by successfully carrying out the event. Day 3 of Amiphoria-2018 ended with a bang-on performance by Amity School Of Communication, which was a tribute to the 100 years of Cinema.

‘Mere Paas Cinema Hai’, a tribute to 100 years of Bollywood was a grand success and the crowd could not contain their excitement and voices whilst the performance was on.
A team of 25 students worked day and night to make this event happen and the fruits of their hard work could be seen on the faces of the audience. This power packed 40 minutes performance included famous dialogues and songs of actors who have taken Bollywood to the heights where it is now.

Amiphoria 2018 ended with a live music event- Musical Melange. It was a musical extravaganza performed on Bollywood, western and semi-classical melodies. The audience was left spellbound by soulful music and singing acts.
The exquisite preparations and atmosphere instilled a rush of excitement and fun within the students and activities happening all around the campus added amusement to it.
This year’s Amiphoria started with a huge carnival where students and faculty from all the departments had chosen themes and were dressed accordingly. It was a bright and lively start with dhol beats and all the zestful students ready to welcome the three day extravaganza. The fete was divided into three parts – Cultural events, games and food stalls.

Where cultural events included big dance competitions and performances, the entire campus was occupied in colorful game counters which were organized by different departments. Also, many tech friendly games and events were hosted by ASET department.
Nukkad Nataks, Antakshari and Rangoli making competitions were the highlight of the event during the day time while Fashion shows and Xstasy –Mr. and Ms. Amity pageant, kept the crowd glued during the evening.

Shruti Tandon and Vaibhav Sharma were crowned with the coveted titles.
The core team of Amiphoria 2018 consisted of students from different departments who were incharge of everything from the stalls to the stage setup and made Amiphoria 2018 a huge success.
