Knocksense Shorts | Displaying indigenous defence tech, 14th Aero India exhibit takes flight

Over the past few years, India has garnered worldwide acclamation for indigenously developed defence breakthroughs. From long-ranged ballistic missiles and artillery gun systems to advanced-grade aircrafts, choppers and battle tanks, the country is now eyeing to become one of the leading exporters of military equipment globally.

Owing to the same, the country is now hosting a 5-day long Aero India exhibit at the Yalahanka Air Force station complex in Bengaluru. The 14th edition of the exhibit kicked off on Feb 13 and is aimed to promote India as an emerging hub for manufacturing and outsourcing defence hardware as numerous delegates from as many as 98 nations are attending the event.

Additionally, more than 700 significant domestic and international defense companies have participated as exhibitors during the event. Furthermore, the exhibit will be graced with several aircraft shows organized by the Indian Air Force, making it one of the most significant spectacles in the nation.
