Together, the state will be partaking in the much-awaited Yoga Week in all grandeur from June 15-21. As part of the celebrations, the practise of Yoga will be held at tourist locations, in order to merge Uttar Pradesh’s historical culture with the spiritual practice. It will be held at various significant water bodies, all Amrit Sarovars and amidst lush greenery in the open.
Daily group sessions will be seen from 6 AM-8AM in public parks. Moreover, common Yoga protocol will be shared as video links to spread awareness and as an effort to encourage more and more people to join in.

Lucknow will also see the organisation of large-scale group yoga practise programmes. Meanwhile, major educational institutions have been hosting seminars and workshops, numerous competitions related to the occasion, where the connection of Yoga to mental health, its application to modern lifestyle will be discussed. Certificates will also be given to students and those participating in the programme of joint yoga practise on June 21.
