Re-launched by the Lucknow Municipal Corporation back in October 2020, the Lucknow-One app has made the lives of the citizens easier with its single-window access to a plethora of services. This app helps the citizens of Lucknow to communicate directly with the city administration and other concerned government authorities, in case there are issues to be resolved in their neighbourhood.
Lucknow-One designed to adapt to Open311 protocols & APIs
Through the Lucknow-One app, the citizens can avail 24×7 helpline services for any sort of emergency, inclusive of women safety, fire outbreak, calling an ambulance, alerting the police and so on. The app also has provisions for ‘Find What’s Near Me’ with chalked out GPS routes, Quick Pay option related to Property Tax and residents can even make tanker bookings and expect animal care solution. E-vehicle registration too, can be carried out via this app. The residents, with the help of Lucknow-One, will further be able to register complaints related to roads, sanitation, street lighting, drinking water, amidst other issues.
Moreover, the authorities have set up a separate control room for the redressal of complaints lodged on the app and a separate team has been appointed, to look into the pressing matters. Complaints on the app will be automatically transferred to the related officials and after resolving the hitch, a report will be generated with proof, to be sent to the complainant.
Lucknow-One is designed to adapt to Open311 protocols, which is a standardized protocol for location-based collaborative issue-tracking and APIs as well, to simplify the access to the services by citizens.
