Lucknow reported around 454 fresh Covid-19 cases in a single day taking the tally of total caseload of the city to around 6,307 on Sunday. With this record breaking number, Lucknow has also been witnessing an increase in the number recoveries. With around 580 patients added to the recovery list on Sunday, the aggregate of total active cases has witnessed a dip. There are around 3,210 active cases in the city right now.

With 454 new coronavirus cases, the highest in 24 hours, there seems to be no respite from the deadly virus in the city. This tally has resulted in Lucknow cementing its place as the worst hit city of the state of Uttar Pradesh for yet another day.
The competence of the medical facilities, front line doctors, staff, and other corona warriors in Lucknow have helped to bring down the total number of active cases in the city, with about 580 recoveries on Sunday. The tally of active cases in the city’s various medical facilities now stand at 3,210.
Lucknow gets a new CMO
In an administrative change, a new Chief Medical Officer was appointed in Lucknow. The Chief Medical Superintendent of Bhaurao Devras Civil Hospital, will be heading the CMO Office in the city. Former CMO, has been appointed as senior consultant at Lok Bandhu Raj Narayan Hospital in Lucknow.
