In wake of the alarming spike of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh, the state government on Wednesday allowed district authorities to take necessary decisions regarding the implementation of the COVID-19 protocols. With this authority, the Lucknow administration has stated that all parks within municipal limits will open for walkers and joggers from 7 AM to 10 AM in the morning and from 4 PM to 8 PM in the evening.
Mask and social distancing are the need of the hour
In an attempt to break the chain of coronavirus spread in Luckow, the LDA has also issued guidelines that need to be observed across all city parks. A face mask has been mandatory to enter the premises. People without a mask will be asked to return by the officials stationed here. When in the park premises, people need to ensure that they are following all norms of social distancing. At the same time, senior citizens, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years will not be allowed to enter the parks.
As per state orders, rapid antigen COVID-19 testing will also be intensified at railway stations, airports and bus stations to quickly trace and treat the virus. All districts, including Lucknow, have to ensure that out of all the Covid tests conducted in a day, at least 50 per cent are to be conducted using the RT-PCR method.
