Lucknow police on a roll; distributes hundreds of food packets to the needy

The Lucknow Police on Saturday distributed hundreds of food packets to the daily wage labourers and migrant workers in the city. After the instructions from the government, officials in Lucknow had established community kitchens in the city.

After reports of people walking back to their villages, government officials have now made arrangements of buses, food and night shelter for the people.

UP Police's emergency call service 'Call 112' is also delivering essential items like milk, medicines and food items to people who are unable to go out. Especially, for the elderly it is advised to stay indoors and during these lockdown days 'Call 112' service is becoming very useful.
