The Differently-Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) which is a BCCI backed body, will be organizing the 2nd edition of the Sardar Patel National Divyang T20 Cup at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium. The national-level tournament will kick off on October 31 which marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and is also observed as National Unity Day in India.
DCCI is an umbrella body works for the the encouragement of differently abled – blind, deaf, physically challenged and wheelchair players of the country. The cricket body started the Sardar Patel National Divyang T20 Cup, back in May this year.

After the success of first edition, DCCI has reorganized the second edition to promote equality and sports activities among differently-abled individuals.
Reportedly, the eight-day tournament will be contested from October 31 to November 7, 2022, during which a total of 20 state teams will take part. The tournament will consist of 43 matches and the winners will be announced on the last day of the series.
Padma Shree Dr. Deepa Malik who is a Paralympic Medallist, Khel Ratna and Arjuna Awardee has been appointed as the Brand Ambassador of the tournament.
