Now you can even catch a bus in Lucknow at midnight as the city administration has decided to run city buses 24×7 from April 2018.
New low-floor buses will ply on Lucknow roads from bus stops, airport and railway stations at night and a commuter will be able to board a bus every hour. This step will definitely help people to commute at odd hours.

Currently, the only sources of public transport for people at midnight are cab services or three wheelers and this step will come as a huge relief for working people.
With this, the administration is also looking forward to building modern bus stops, which will be equipped with passenger kisosk, ticket vending machine, and route display features.
