GreenCell Mobility’s NueGo brand has introduced India’s first electric intercity bus on the Delhi-Lucknow route with enhanced safety features for women. With fares starting from ₹999, the service offers a sustainable travel option between the two northern cities, completing the journey in 10 hours.
The electric buses are engineered for long-distance travel with zero tailpipe emissions. Each vehicle undergoes 25 mechanical and electrical safety checks to ensure reliability. On a full charge, the buses can travel over 250 kms.
Enhanced passenger facilities
Part of NueGo’s growing sustainable public transport network, the service currently operates over 300 electric buses daily from more than 500 locations across India. Passengers can track their journey in real-time through the NueGo mobile app. As per reports, select locations also offer airport-style lounges for added convenience.
