Lucknow Police Commissionerate has now introduced an online registration system for obtaining permission for protests and demonstrations.
This new system streamlines the process for seeking approvals, which were previously only available through offline means, causing inconvenience and delays. Now, organizers of events such as marathons, shootings, religious programs, yantras and other events in Lucknow, can easily apply for permission through the digital platform.
Under the online mode, people will be able to register in a matter of few clicks and by simply uploading the required documents. Additionally, applicants can conveniently monitor the status of their applications. Upon approval, the system enables users to download the permission document for future reference.
The permission application can be done one the uppolice.gov.in website page -> Citizen service option -> Event/Performance Request.
