After the iconic Chhota Imambada and two stadiums doubled up as inoculation sites in Lucknow, Radha Swami Ashram located in Mohanlalganj Tehsil is the latest to join this list. While the ashram management has completed all the primary preparations for the establishment of this new facility, official orders to this effect are awaited now. As per the ashram authorities, it can be expected that the vaccination centre may start operations from June 5.
10 vax booths & 1000-seater waiting area set up at the centre
The local tehsil administration has taken congnisance of the arrangements at the site and it is anticipated that the final orders may arrive soon. Meanwhile, the ashram officials have prepared a well-structured plan for the execution of immunisation schedules. According to Jitendra Arora, regional secretary of the ashram, beneficiaries will be first provided with tea, mineral water and biscuits, when they visit the ashram.
After that, they would pass through a counter, specifically made for sanitisation purposes and free masks will also be provided to them. Post this, the citizens will move to the waiting area which has a total of 1,000 chairs to ensure sufficient seating facilities. Further, 10 booths have been installed at the centre for administering the immunity booster jabs.
Recipients to be kept under observation for 30 minutes
Additionally, the complex also houses 5 beds with oxygen support for emergency use, if any unforeseen circumstance crops up. It is to be noted that the beneficiaries will have to wait for have an hour in the waiting area after getting the dose. SDM Mohanlalganj Dr. Shubhi Kakan has affirmed that the ashram is ready to serve as an inoculation centre and the related decisions will be quickly taken after the inspection is completed.
