When we first heard about healthy eating and healthy food the only thing we thought of was salad and boiled chicken. Yet, so far down in the health and healthy eating trend we’ve come to realise healthy eating is a lot more than just bland salads and boiled unsalted egg whites. Healthy food is often as tasty, even better tasting than your basic junk.
Lucknow is new to the health cafe and the healthy food scene, but we are not unfamiliar with it. We’ve seen our occasional salad and had our grilled chicken, but nothing out of the ordinary that would make us want to eat healthy food.
To redefine the ‘healthy eating’ experience in Lucknow and make sure we have more than 3 healthy options, Healthy Panda has launched an exciting new menu and we love every single bit of it.

When we say Healthy Panda is redefining the ‘healthy eating experience in Lucknow’, we mean that they’re making it so much better than it has ever been.
Tucked away on a quiet corner of Gomti Nagar, Healthy Panda is a health cafe, dedicated to low carb, protein forward healthy dishes. The first time we came across the spot, we found it to be cozy, comfortable and relaxing. While an unknown singer crooned of love lost, we found a corner shelf we could not get over. Stocked with books longing to be read and board games that were calling out our names, it was and is an introvert’s paradise.

We tried a lot from the new selection and we have to say, the food, the given price point and the comfort of the outlet are something that you need to experience yourself.
We had the classic grilled fish served with lemon butter sauce and stir fried veggies, chicken steak sizzler stuffed with sundried tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and covered in mouth-watering sauce base served with stir fried veggies and pasta. We could not help but take a few more bites than we meant to as the two best sellers did a flavour tango in our mouth. We also tried the full English breakfast served with the signature green tea and it was as solid as we’ve tried anywhere.

We also tried protein forward smoothies and health blends here, the Power Plus Peanut, High Protein Hulk Coffee both have over 40 grams of protein, are loaded with good fats and are recommended. What you definitely have to try is the Leaning Blueberry smoothie here, it is made with a yogurt base, blueberry pulp, chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and no added sugar.
If you are a coffee lover, we would also recommend trying any number of coffees here, the roasted hazelnut, espresso, classic cappuccino and the iced Americano should be on top of your list.
Before the delicacies we tried here could attack our taste buds with flavours, we fell irrevocably in love with the interiors. The warm wood tones, the chill comforter style sofas and the coziness made us swoon and the longer we sat here the more we wanted to stay and never leave.
The place is our newest hangout favourite and we cannot stop singing praises (as you can tell), you definitely need to visit the place if you are fond of coffee, good music, a cozy vibe and food that isn’t dripping with oil or covered in grease. Healthy panda also has a ton of basic café grub, from pasta, pizza to shakes, they have it all and you surely won’t be disappointed in anything you have here!
