Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) on Tuesday released a press note announcing offline examinations for classes 10 and 12 this year. The council exams will be held from March 24 to April 12, 2022, in written format, across 8373 centres in the state. The Board Headquarters in Prayagraj has also issued a detailed timetable of both high school and intermediate board exams. Check all details here:

The UP Board examination for Classes 10 and 12 exams will be held in an offline mode from March 24 to April 12, the Vinay Kumar Pandey UP Board chairman and director (secondary education) officially stated. “As per the timetable, the exams for high school would be completed in 12 working days while that of intermediate would be completed in 15 working days”, Kumar added.

Last year, the Board had not conducted the high school and intermediate examination owing to the pandemic. Students were passed and promoted on the basis of preliminary assessments and internal tests. This year, however, the COVID-19 scale is limited, making the conditions conducive for the offline exams.
In wake of the same, the UPMSP has made a slew of arrangements to make sure that the state-board examinations are conducted as per a fair and transparent module. All exam centres in the state will be equipped with CCTV cameras and voice recorders to proctor the exams and prevent cheating.
As per reports, a total of 51,92,689 students will appear for these offline exams. This includes 27, 81,654 high school (Class 10) students and about 24,11,035 intermediate (Class 12) students.
