Celebrating womanhood, the Pedalyatri Cycling Association in Lucknow is bringing the initiative of ‘Maanvi’ to life. With the belief that every day is women’s day, the programme focuses on health and fitness and is extending an invitation to all women in the city to be a part of a cycle-walk-marathon. To be hosted on March 7, the event will begin at 6:30 AM from the 1090 Women’s Powerline Chauraha, so make sure to mark your calendars!

Lucknow is adding the touch of fitness this Women’s day with its cycle-walk-marathon on March 7. This event will include a cyclethon, a marathon and a walkathon, to spread awareness and encourage people to adopt healthier means to live.
While the cycle route will map 8.1 km, the walk and run drives will cover about 3.1 km in the city. Registrations are free and arriving participants can be a part of any of the drives, as all three of them will be flagged-off from the same source point, at 1090 Women’s Powerline Chauraha.

Additionally, sessions on Zumba and self-defence will also be organised here, along with Nukkad Natak. This is going to be a women’s exclusive event and only those over 16 years of age can be a part of it. By the end of the programme, participants will be felicitated with goodie bags and certificates of participation.
