If you’re a foodie with a heart that beats for new culinary adventures, then March has some delicious surprises in store for you! Mumbai’s restaurant scene is flourishing with fresh flavours and quirky vibes. Whether you’re craving comfort food or something that tickles your tastebuds, these 8 new restaurants in Mumbai are calling your name. So, grab your fork and get ready to try something new this month!

Benne Juhu

Listen up, foodies of Juhu! We know that you are in love with Benne Bandra. Well, now the action is happening right next to you! Akhil and Shriya, the duo behind this humble eatery, have spread their wings and brought the magic of the benne dosa to Juhu. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, your cravings are sorted with Podi Thatte Idlis and the crispiest benne dosa you’ve ever had – we know you won’t stop at just one bite (or two, or three… who’s counting?). Follow on Instagram for daily updates.

When: 7 am – 3:30 pm, 5 pm – 11:30 pm

Where: Ground Floor, Virav Apartment, Gulmohar Road, Juhu

Kico Kicks & Cocktails

Imagine a place where sneaker culture meets craft cocktails – where your drink is inspired by sneakers like Air Jordans or the Nike Moon Shoe. It’s mixology with a sneakerhead twist. But it’s not just about the drinks here; Kico Kicks & Cocktails doubles as a sneaker retail hub, with exclusive drops and cool streetwear collabs. And the food? Definitely worth a try. If you’re looking for a laid-back place to hang out with friends, this could be your new go-to. Follow on Instagram for more updates.

When: 5:30 pm – 1:30 pm

Where: 14, Raheja Classique, Off Linking Road, Andheri West

Khao Man Gai

Translating to “Rice Fat Chicken,” Khao Man Gai has finally launched its own spot, and trust us, it’s worth the wait. After plenty of tasting and tweaking, Chef Seefah Ketchaiyo has brought the flavours of Bangkok straight to Bombay. With crockery flown in from Thailand and a cosy 12-seater space that oozes charm, Khao is serving up Thai street food like you’ve never had it before. The menu? It’s simple but packed with the best – no frills, just flavours. Follow Khao on Instagram for more updates.

When: 12 noon – 4 pm, 6 pm – 11:30 pm | Tuesday closed

Where: 14, Dunhill Apartments, Waroda Road, Bandra West

Mezzo Mezzo

Nestled by the Juhu Beach, JW Marriott has unveiled Mezzo Mezzo – a restaurant where Mediterranean vibes meet the cosiness of a European-style villa. The name “Mezzo Mezzo” (which means “middle” in Italian) captures the essence of this spot, bringing guests right into the heart of the action. Inspired by modern Europe, with influences from Greece, Spain, Italy, and Turkey, this destination is all set to take your tastebuds on a journey across the Mediterranean. Follow it on Instagram for more updates.

When: Open 24 Hours

Where: Jw Marriott, Juhu Tara Road, Juhu

Zima

Zima has spread its wings beyond Bandra and is now open in Versova! Zareen Baig and Atiq Kapadia, a Dubai-based couple with a passion for fine taste, have infused their love for food into every dish here. Drawing inspiration from the food trails of Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, and more, Zima is their adventure in flavour. With every light switched on, Zima brings the heart of the Middle East to life. Follow Zima on Instagram for more updates.

When: 12 noon – 1 am

Where: 49, Utkal Villa, J P Road, Versova, Andheri West

Ettara

A new coffee haunt has popped up in Andheri West, and it’s already making a splash! Say hello to Ettarra, where the vibe is snug, the South Indian snacks are scrumptious, and the coffee is absolutely fresh. Get your caffeine fix with a classic South Indian Filter Kaapicino, a chilled Hazelnut Frappe, or a zesty Espresso Tonic. Feeling adventurous? Go for the Nariyal Irish Cream Frappe – a quirky fusion that’s as bold as it sounds. So, pop by for a sip or two, and follow Ettarra on Instagram for more updates.

When: 9 am – 12 midnight

Where: 5, Fun Republic, Andheri West

Copper Chimney

Guess what, Bandra? Copper Chimney, with over 50 years of serving mouthwatering flavours from India, has just opened a brand new flagship restaurant on Linking Road! Expect the same beloved kebabs and curries, now alongside a fresh range of chaat and freshly baked kulchas with a variety of dips and toppings. The new contemporary ambiance and timeless cocktails are designed especially for Bandra. Owned by Charcoal Concepts, a platform for specialist Indian food and beverage brands, this spot is a must-try for all food lovers!

When: 12 noon – 4 pm, 6:30 pm – 1 am

TAATSU – Japanese Baked Tarts

Founded in 2022, TAATSU quickly became the go-to spot for Japanese-style baked cheesecake tarts in Mumbai with their carefully curated menu. Fast forward three years, and TAATSU has just opened its first physical store on Chapel Road! Designed in the sleek, minimalist style that TAATSU is known for (thanks to designer Shreya Parasrampuria), the new store is exactly what you’d expect and more! Step in, and build your own box of three, six, or nine tarts. Check out Instagram for more updates.
