IIT Bombay’s placement season culminated recently with some great news for students stepping into their professional lives. The highest international placement package at IIT Bombay broke all previous records this time, to reach ₹3.7 crore per annum. While the highest domestic salary package stayed at ₹1.7 crore per annum.
It must be noted that the engineering and technology sectors saw the maximum number of placements at IIT Bombay, with 458 students being offered jobs across 97 companies. Besides, all 16 offers of more than ₹1 crore per annum, came from companies based in the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Japan, and the United States.
