About 10% space of the recently launched BMC parking lots at Zaveri Bazar, Flora Fountain and Matunga Railway station will be dedicated as e-charging points in Mumbai.
Officials state that around 20 out of 200 parking spaces in the Flora Fountain area are to be reserved as e-vehicles charging points. A similar pattern will be followed in the electromechanical parking system near Matunga Railway Station and the underground electromechanical parking system at Zaveri Bazar’s Mumbadevi Temple area, meant for 475 and 546 cars, respectively. All together, this move will open over 120 new e-charging points, across 3 locations in the city.
