Chennai’s SRMPR Group and Princy World Travel Limited in Kochi, have teamed up to launch a range of private train tour packages from Kerala to Goa, Mumbai, and Ayodhya. Operating under the ‘Bharat Gaurav Yatra‘ scheme, the inaugural tour is set for June 4, featuring a four-day excursion from Thiruvananthapuram to Goa.
As per reports, the SRMPR Group has leased trains from Indian Railways, with operations in Kerala being managed by PWTL. According to E.X. Baby Thomas, Managing Director of Princy World Travel Limited, the packages provide an opportunity for travel enthusiasts to choose from among leisure, commercial and pilgrimage destinations.
Trip specifications:
Safety is a priority on the 14 coaches train with 60 staff personnel during the four-day trip from Thiruvananthapuram to Madgaon and back. It will house a team of paramedical staff and a 24/7 emergency response crew. Amenities include GPS-tracking, live CCTV, clean restrooms, à la carte dining, tailored bedding, and onboard food trolleys.
Upon arrival in Goa, travelers will stay in premier hotels for two nights, enjoying city tours and optional activities like casino visits, boat cruises, and DJ events in Madgaon. Also, per reports, free travel insurance will be offered to passengers.
